Southwest Building & Maintenance Ltd., based in Plymouth, Devon, was formed in 1992 by Mr. John Allard with a unique building service covering the South West of England.

With a turnover of over £1.8 million per annum SWBM Ltd continues to set the standard in Building Maintenance & Project Services, for both domestic and commercial customers.

We undertake projects from minor building alterations to major design & build/refurbishment projects. Our services range from very small alterations to existing structures and fabrications, to fitting out of building shells to the client's express design.

We have extensive experience in pub refurbishments and new builds with companies such as JD Wetherspoon, Enterprise Inns, Mitchell's & Butler, Pubmaster. We also undertake large & small decorating projects and associated repairs including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, heating, electrical, joinery etc..

All work is closely managed and all aspects of design and build are carefully monitored , we take our obligations under Construction Design & Management (CDM) very seriously and all Project Supervisors help our clients in meeting their obligations along with ours as the main contractor.

Refurbishment, whether major or minor, is a large part of the work that our building department carries out on a regular basis.
